February 21, 2010: Michael Weiss, of the Ciclopia Tri team, raced in the 38th AnnualCricket Winter Cup this morning as part of his 2010 training program. The Gumpoldskirchner triathlete won over a distance of 9350 meters in 31:58,4, and improved on his performance from last year (33:15,9).
Alfred Sungi was always close behind Michael at a distance of about half a minute at the 10 major rounds of sight.
Weiss sprinted from the start over the typical cross-country terrain (damp soil and snow) and was pleased with his efforts and victory for the day.
